In April 1993, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) was organized as a subsidiary of the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) which is tasked to manage the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) and Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). The zones are two contiguous areas in Pampanga and Tarlac that are considered as one of the fastest growing investment destinations in the Philippines today.
CDC oversees the day-to-day affairs in Clark, ensuring that a viable business environment is enjoyed by locators and investors, employees, residents, local communities and all other stakeholders. It implements sound policies that help create profitable business climate inside the Freeport while helping boost the economies of local communities in and around Clark area.
To transform Clark Freeport Zone into a preferred business and tourism destination in the Asia Pacific region and enable investors find long-term economic returns.
By 2030, Clark Freeport Zone shall be a modern sustainable aerotropolis and the preferred MiCE (Meetings, lncentives, Conferences, Exhibits) and tourism destination in the Asia-Pacific Region.
